The African Fat-tailed Gecko sheds its skin every 4 weeks. The skin color becomes very dull before it sheds. You may assist the Gecko by pulling off dead skin with tweezers.

Just about anything can be used(for caging), with a ten gallon aquarium being adequate for a pair. African Fat-Tailed Geckos cannot climb smooth surfaces, so a screen cover is not needed!
